Drug smuggler in '05 shooting sentenced

Put Johnny Sutton in the same cell with this drug smuggler and let Compean and Ramos go with back pay and a bonus.President Bush has got enough money so he can kick in a few bucks also.

I know San Francisco is a wacky place but I have to tell you all that within five minutes of this story being in the SF Gate there would be thirty comments on this story and 85% of them would be agreeing with me. Compean and Ramos got railroaded by Sutton and President Bush will do nothing about it.

The Ramos/Compean conviction is a travesty to our justice system. Over zealous prosecutors who conceal evidence (just like the Duke Lacrosse team prosecutor) should be stripped of their license and never be allowed to practice law again. Further, they should have to serve double the original penalty of the person(s) they wrongly convicted. The only thing worse than a crooked lawyer is a crooked prosecutor. Here's hoping that the President does the "right" thing and pardons these agents. Today would not be too soon.

Most probably, Pres. Bush directed Sutton to find the Border Patrol Agents guilty of anything. Bush will bend America over, if it makes his pals in Mexico happy. Bush will give-up any law enforcement member if Mexico requests it. Bush dis-honors his Oath of Office and the Presidency of these United States. Karl in Phoenix
