Michelle Obama's statements with regard to the military are not believable for several reasons. Where was his outrage when Kennedy called them torturer's, Murtha called them murderer's and Durbin called them Nazi's. This was denigration of our troops, not president Bush. Why didn't he take an hour out of his rock star tour while in Germany to visit those that he may have to send to their death's in Afghanistan if elected? You want see the real Obama, listen to a few off the records (small town America), conduct a couple of Town Halls and then look at his past voting record. He says what people want to hear before the election in programmed rhetorical outputs and will do what he wants to do after the election, just like the Democratic leadership in the Congress.

Too bad neither of the Obamas had the will or courage to serve the country in this manner--instead they attended a church that rails against the country and its military. His wife admits he doesn't understand what war does to military families but she will remind him.... Good for her. Bad for them. He doesn't know???? What a leader he will be. Out of Michelle's mouth....

With her husband ignoring enlisted men wanting to shake his hand so he can have his picture taken playing basket ball with the officers she is wasting her time, if the troops and families weren't born Democrats they aren't going to get their vote, and with his behavior they may set out the election.

Wow! Just Wow! Barack Hussein Obama, has his wife lying for him. If he was so concern about the military families, why didn't he go visit the wounded soldiers while in Germany? The empty suited Chicago Hustler will do and say anything to get votes. NO TO BO! We want Hillary and we want her NOW! We need somebody who will be ready on DAY ONE! All Barack Hussein Obama does is take vacations every two to three months. If he was so concern about America, he would roll up his sleeves and get to work. Not travel around the world pretending to be President. PUMA! www.pumapac.org www.justsaynodeal.com www.camille424.wordpress.com www.noquarterusa.net www.savagepolitics.com

I wonder if she took the time to remind them that forthe first time in her adutlife she is proud of her country.

From the article: "'What's going to happen to me in three years if this cancer comes back,' [Elaine Ghishard, breast cancer survivor] said. Mrs. Obama said her husband's plan for universal health care would provide the answer." ANSWER?? SURE, HERE'S THE ANSWER: Very unfortunately--and very likely--"Mrs. Obama's...husband's plan for universal health care" would make this patient wait ANOTHER three years before she could even be properly EVALUATED, let alone TREATED! Universal health care. Some "answer"!

Wait one minute... The woman who had breast cancer is worried about her treatment if the cancer should return. As a military retiree the hospitals such as Bethesda, etc. are still open to those who retire. A friend, whose husband retired 3 years ago uses Portsmouth Naval Hospital for OB care. She has the best of doctors ! Mrs. Obama knows nothing of the military. Obama's plan for "universal health care is a total sham.

I am inclined to agree with most of their assessments. Our men and women are put up on pedastals while serving, but their families are forgotten, as they are too once they've come home and the parade is over. McCain was against the GI Bill. He voted against National Guard and reserve funding in 2004, protective equipment funding in 2006. And tabled a few motions in a manner not fitting his war hero stature, but more like that of a politician afraid to take a stand.

"because the commander in chief doesn't just need to know how to lead the military. He needs to understand what war does to military families.” This statement by Obama the clown's wife is to stupid to even comment on. For so many different reason's.

Obama Yo Mama and Michelle are finally proud to be Americans. Give them a break. If he is elected they may one day love the military too. YOU don't know what you need! Barak Hussein and Horse Face, I mean Michelle will Give you what you need! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! We are SOOOO SCREWED if he is elected!

Like so much of this campaign, it's all a sham, purely for show. Michelle later went on to Wilmington and military wives were actually turned away. There wasn't room for them with all the staffers and the people who were bussed in from Fayetteville because they admittedly didn't think they could draw military families. It's easy to throw around a lot of empty promises and platitudes but there is nothing behind their promises, beyond a few good media sound bites. You are being used, military families. Used. The Obamas haven't a clue or an ounce of concern for military families.
