'The Shack': Book on accessible God hits big

Well, a "feel-good" so-called Christian book...what a load of bunk! If you want to know about GOD and JESUS, read the Bible! I do NOT consider myself to be a great Christian by ANY stretch of the imagination, but I do consider myself to BE Christian...that means I believe in Jesus and God, and I know the Word of God as given to humanity is in the Bible, alone. This is just another attempt to bring a touch of cultural Marxism into play...however much I may worry about where I'll end up for eternity, at least I KNOW where Mr. Marx and his ardent followers will be! Jesus himself said "I did not come to bring peace but a sword." If what is in the Bible makes you uncomfortable, then it is WORKING!

I'm going to read the book for what it is,a work of fiction. One should not be so easly easly shaken in the stregnth of one's faith. If Mr. Young book get more people to read the Bible so much the better.

I have read this book and I will tell you for someone like me who does not like to read, I couldn't put the book down. I found myself asking God the same questions about my life and boy it hit home. I recommend this book to everyone. I talk about all the time and will start to read it for a second time. Thank you so much for writing this. I found myself also digging into the Word of God to follow up on things and it is scriptural in a lot of what Mr. Young has written.
