The "real knockout shots" will come when McCain starts emphasizing that Obama's energy plan is really and environmental plan and his economic plan is a control everything through tax plan. The windfall profits tax proposal surfaces the true Obama socialist agenda. The government is going to control the countries private business profits and therefore the distribution of wealth. I think its called nationalization of assets but Hugo Chavez could define it better.

I wrote a theme song: Obama beautiful morning Obama beautiful day I’ve got an Oh bama feeling Every things O bama K He’s the bright golden haze on the meadow He’s the hope of John Stewart and Leno His ethics are high, but not pie-in-the-sky He thinks before talking, and tries not to lie. Obama beautiful morning Obama beautiful day I’ve got an Oh bama feeling Every things O bama K All our children are waiting for clean air All the polar bears want is just their share The world needs to heel from this peril and war Not the mav’rick please earth screams we don’t need no more! Obama beautiful morning Obama beautiful day I’ve got an Oh bama feeling Every things O bama K We need Barry to bring us together We’re tired of 8 years of bad weather Obama’s our fella, he’s got the right stuff Let’s vote for him people ain’t you had enough???? Obama beautiful morning Obama beautiful day I’ve got an Oh bama feeling Every things O bama K

I am glad that the comedians have finally noticed what an easy target Obama is, they have given him a free ride for so long I was afraid they wouldn't use the material he gives them every time he openes his mouth.

I cannot believe I am the only one who thought of this, but for the record, here it is, sung to the tune of "Hosanna," from "Jesus Christ Superstar:" CROWD O-bama Hey Sanna Sanna Sanna O-bama Hey Sanna O-bama Yo BO, BO won't you smile at me? Sanna O-bama Hey Superstar CAIAPHAS Tell the rabble to be quiet, we anticipate a riot. This common crowd, is much too loud. Tell the mob who sing your song that they are fools and they are wrong. They are a curse. They should disperse. CROWD O-bama Hey Sanna Sanna Sanna O-bama Hey Sanna O-bama Yo BO, BO you're alright by me Sanna O-bama Hey Superstar OBAMA Why waste your breath moaning at the crowd? Nothing can be done to stop the shouting. If every tongue were stilled The noise would still continue. The rocks and stone themselves would start to sing: CROWD AND OBAMA O-bama Hey Sanna Sanna Sanna O-bama Hey Sanna O-bama CROWD (alone) Yo BO, BO won't you fight for me? Sanna O-bama Hey Superstar OBAMA Sing me your songs, But not for me alone. Sing out for yourselves, For you are bless-ed. There is not one of you Who can not win the kingdom. The slow, the suffering, The quick, the dead. CROWD and OBAMA O-bama Hey Sanna Sanna Sanna O-bama Hey Sanna O-bama THE REMAINING STANZA IS DISGUSTING IN TRANSLATION AND SHOULD NEVER BE SUNG IN THAT FORM. EVER.

There is so much unused material for the comedian on the subject of Obama that once the start it will go on to Election Day. The funniest day will be the first Wednesday in November. I am not into comedy but when it comes to Obama I give it a shot to. http://www.readwhatisee.com/index.php?p=105&more

utility curve...not very clever! you did not specifically change words to fit the conditions. and rtk_51...wrong idea of why I wrote it. I work for Obama daily...I am campaigning for him. Mine was nerd humor, not meant to be mean or offensive. JC

JCSCOWN, indeed it was NOT original (see "Obama cedes lifting lines," http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/feb/18/obama-cedes-lifting-lines/), but considering the messianic tones of the Senator's highest-soaring rhetoric, it was clever in the manner of all literary allusion. From my perspective, the conditions, including the mesmerization of crowds, the projection of one's own dearest beliefs onto the candidate without textual support, are spot-on for this parody! 'Course, I'm not voting for Obama, either, which could explain my glee at my own handiwork!

Hawaii with friends? How's about going on vacation to see your typical white person grandmother whose afraid of black men but raised you. Or even his half-sister.
