I am glad that the comedians have finally noticed what an easy target Obama is, they have given him a free ride for so long I was afraid they wouldn't use the material he gives them every time he openes his mouth.

JCSCOWN, indeed it was NOT original (see "Obama cedes lifting lines," http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/feb/18/obama-cedes-lifting-lines/), but considering the messianic tones of the Senator's highest-soaring rhetoric, it was clever in the manner of all literary allusion. From my perspective, the conditions, including the mesmerization of crowds, the projection of one's own dearest beliefs onto the candidate without textual support, are spot-on for this parody! 'Course, I'm not voting for Obama, either, which could explain my glee at my own handiwork!
