ASSOCIATIONS, GOVERNMENT & NONPROFITS

Robin Cyrtmus joined the Manassas Chamber of Commerce as events director. A member of the Chamber since 2006, Ms. Cyrtmus was owner of Waiting for You, a personal concierge service.

Steven R. Weisman joined the Peterson Institute for International Economics as editorial director and public policy fellow. Mr. Weisman is chief international economics correspondent for the New York Times.

ENGINEERING & ARCHITECTURE

Robert J. Fatovic joined architectural, engineering and planning firm Cannon Design as vice president. Mr. Fatovic will help expand Cannon Design’s sports practice throughout North America and overseas. Before joining Cannon Design, he ran his own consulting firm.

FINANCE

Stephen Thormahlen was named managing director of PNC Wealth Management in greater Washington. Mr. Thormahlen joins PNC from Fiduciary Investment Management International in the District, where he served as president and chief executive officer for the past 16 years.

Marlon Moore was promoted to vice president and business development manager at Bank of Georgetown in the District.

HIGH TECHNOLOGY & TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Gabby Wong was named vice president of professional services at Trusted Computer Solutions Inc., a Herndon company that provides the federal government with security access solutions. Mr. Wong spent six years at Primavera Systems as director of its ProSight professional services practice.
