Another US and EU foreign policy disaster? Supporting the AKP, who are Islamic-minded, may look good in the short-term, but opens up a variety of cans of worms. Secular Turks have been paying a price for it. Maybe it EU and the US' turn to pay a price by seeing their attempts to contain Iran fail, esp. with the Russian moves in Georgia. Looks like Israel will have to go it alone this time...
