What is the Democrats energy plan? It definitely hasn't produced more energy, from the gas prices, it won't even meet current demands. It's like Obama's energy plan, it's and environmental plan. Russia doesn't give a hang about global warming any more than China or India. You can bet Putin's 'energy as a weapon' plan for the BTC pipeline is going to make Europe stand on its head this winter and guess what, we won't be able to do a bloody thing about it. The Democrats are forcing an environmental imploding energy black hole and dragging the U.S. into it. They don't know where is going but they just keep squeezing it so that nothing get through.

Roba should not make fun of Obama like that. The tire gauge is very important and some of us are educated enough to know that. With the Obama energy plan we should all keep our tires properly inflated. I mean, have you ever tried to push a car that has run out of gas? They are much harder to push when the tires are not propertly inflated.

OPEC turned the oil spigot off in the 1970s. Few people remember or mention the gas lines anymore. Hindsight is 20/20 but if we had begun more exploration and drilling when we got that wakeup call, we would be a lot better off today. If we increase production in the US in the coming years, the law should stipulate that the oil remain in the US - and not be sold on the world market. We have the most dysfunctional Congress since the Civil War, however, and it is highly unlikely that it will work with the energy producers to solve this problem. Obama certainly doesn't have the answers.

The wicked witch of the west from sanctuary city (Pelosi) is totally irrespnsible and may even be corrupt. Her refusal to hold a vote on domestic drilling for more oil that would provide relief to all Americans is despicable. Could the fact that she stands to profit from higher gas prices be her motivation? Check Michelle Malkin's revelation of Pelosi's energy investments. Nancy is beyond contempt. I'm waiting for the mainstream media to report on this but I don't hold out much hope.
