Immigration: 'Demographic divide' on the rise

These numbers are often inaccurate. First, how do you classify biracial or multiracial ethnic groups? There are dozens of people who are mixed with whites but are no longer considered white. For instance the largest interracial couples are Asians and whites. Are the children of these considered white or Asian or neither? Also, a lot of Hispanics mix with whites as well. Are they now considered Hispanics? The same goes for non-white mix such as Tiger Woods. Is he considered Asian, black, or as he describes himself caublisian. All of this will probably be a mute point once people make genetic engineering a possibility. The bigger issue facing the USA and the world in general is overpopulation which causes more problems than race and is the root of ALL problems of the world from energy needs, pollution, poverty, increase in size of gov to deal with it leading to massive corruption and socialism, cost of living, etc. Unfortunately, all growth in population is occurring from people of third world nations that are too poor or too stupid to use contraceptives and these people then wind up immigrating to Western countries.

Once upon the time it was held that the "State has the same undeniable jurisdiction over all persons and things within its territorial limits as any foreign nation," and the object of the 14th amendment "was to restrain the States, not the inhabitants of the States as assumed by the Government." When the states rolled over and allowed the U.S Supreme Court under their great society mantra strip them of their reserved powers to control the ballot box, their police powers and immigration, well they sold their souls to the devil.

Only if you happen to have a relative here, which precludes most white, English speaking foreign nationals who desire to live here and would help to create an ethnic balance. British people are discriminated against because we are barred from the Green Card lottery. Without a relative here, our only option is investment. Even after we invest here and employ US citizens, we can only ever be temporary - no path to green card for us. Most Europeans are discouraged by the almost insurmountable obstacles to immigration. Most Hispanics have huge families and once one becomes a citizen, they start bringing in their relatives. Is it any wonder the Hispanics are taking over? There is no point in seeing how many people the US can cram into its borders before life become unbearable. Immigration can not go on forever if for no other reason than we will eventually turn the US into a place no one wants to come to. We need to stop immigration now while the US is still livable. We also need to remove illegal aliens as well.

There's a limit to how many people one country can assimilate. There's alread 10 million illegal aliens here, and with them having kids as people do, I wonder how many that adds up to in 40 years, double? Of course, Obama wants to give all these "law abiding" illegal aliens amnesty, and force the taxpayers to pay for lawyers who will help them fight deportation (Hat tip: www.notwrightforamerica.com). This country was founded, built, and blessed by immigration, no serious American has a problem with immigration. Serious Americans have a problem with ILLEGAL immigration. The nations of the EU have a huge population drain issue, hence their crazy immigration policies and very strict emigration rules. Secure our borders. Fund and build a border wall. Deport illegal immigrants (yes, all 12 to 30 million of them - deny public services to them unless it is then followed up with deportation). Eliminate the 'anchor' baby loophole. Create a WORKING legal immigration system, and then ENFORCE it. Don't change naturalization at all.

build the fence,round up all 13 million and send them home, then get rid of every person in congress that had anything to do with getting us into this mess to begin with

I agree with SOME of the comments that have been offered here...however, reality MUST intrude somewhere...I think a secure border fence is a GREAT investment considering the overburden on our systems today from ILLEGAL ALIENS (call them what they are) and removal of the "anchor baby" law, for certain...however, trying to remove ALL the folks already here is nigh on impossible...this nation has absorbed millions of immigrants before and CAN do it again...but not if the tide never stops...thus the fence...and we need it to be constructed NOW, not when a DEMO Congress gets off their pandering butts and does a half-hearted bill to appease "nationalist voters"!

Obama plans on giving all of the illegals health care, jobs, welfare, WIC, foodstamps, drivers' licenses, jobs, and a free education!! "WHAT" is going to be left for you?? your kids?? your grandkids?? Then he wants "YOUR" kids/grandkids to learn Spanish---so that the invaders feel more welcomed and are accommodated!!! McCain is not perfect regarding this issue---but he is DEFINITELY better than Obama!! We are now fighting for the future rights/opportunities for OUR children/grandchildren----who are entitled to these rights/benefits/opportunties----NOT the illegal invaders and their families!!!

kmooneyham: Arizona, Oklahoma, Georgia, etc.---have already FORCED the illegals to leave their states----ALL states can do the same thing, so that the illegal invaders are FORCED to leave the entire country. Take away all jobs, welfare, WIC, foodstamps, non-emergency medical, education benefits, etc---and the illegals will be FORCED to leave on their own---just like what is happening in AZ, OK, and GA. Then, let all police be trained/certified through the Federal 287g Program, so that they can assist ICE with making arrests/deportations---just like what is happening in AZ, OK, and GA-----and the illegals will leave on thier own. If the welcome mat is lifted throughout the country, the illegals will be FORCED to leave on thier own!!!

If things don't change soon, our nation will become a country "of the criminals, by the criminals and for the criminals." These same criminals have already proven they do not respect America or American law. I don't see them making any changes that are positive, they could have done that wherever they came from. Crime, greed and looking for freebies is what they are all about.

Even if the U.S./Mexico "TORTILLA CURTAIN OF SHAME" was to be built tomorrow and America started "deporting" ALL the UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS en masse, it would NOT make a dent to prevent the white race's INEVITABLE FAIT ACCOMPLI. White America's ethnic population is getting old and dying out. They (whites) are also no longer procreating enough children anymore either to catch up with the everso growing Brown people of color who will become the dominant majority in about 2045. Case in point; The Texas Rio Grande Valley from Corpus Christi to Brownsville is a classical example of Mexican American self rule. Most of these towns and cities from Mayors, City Council, Health and Education, a Chicana woman President of Brownsville's University of Texas, Chief of Police, etc, are mostly Chicano governed. The death of MANIFEST DESTINY has come to it's final end. THE UGLY AMERICAN is dead. America will feel THE BROWNING OF AMERICA from California to Texas in a near future with no turning back the clock.
