Pendamon

So, let me get this straight: Obama---the candidate whose slogan is "Change You Can Believe In"---has picked for his running mate---I can hardly get this out---This Year's 'Cheney'? The same Dick Cheney that for 8 years has been villified and excoriated by the left wing? Doesn't this just give a kind of backhanded compliment to George Bush and Dick Cheney and the Republicans? Isn't imitation the sincerest form of flattery, after all?If Obama can get away with this, he can get away with anything.

I am not a Obama supporter but this shows the weakness of Obama. Bad "Change" choice Obama.

So Nancy Pelosi is not a Washington insider? That's almost as good as how much Obama has learned to be ready for President since Biden has said he wasn't. For the war, against the war, Obama is not ready, Obama is ready. This is another guy that will SAY whatever it takes.

Now some Facts... Nancy Pelosi never entered politics until her youngest child gratuated from college. Barak Obama and George Bush each have about the same amount of experience entering the chase for the White House, one term of Senate vs. one term of Governor. Obama however didn't grow up having a rich and powerful daddy to bail him out of countless messes. Joe Biden and Dick Cheney each anchored the candidate with their own several years of experience. No word yet on Biden's house enjoying a permanent no-fly zone overhead though. And apparently Biden has forgotten to enter the oil and energy business as a hobby.

Wrong again, Mag7. Bush and Obama "have about the same amount of experience"---NOT. Bush was a Chief Executive when he ran for the Presidency, and was in his SECOND term as Governor of Texas, not his first,so get your facts straight. Everyone knows there is a fundamental difference between being a governor and being a senator. With a governor the "buck stops here" and you are fully accountable. As a senator you spend your time passing the buck and are rarely if ever held accountable, unless you run for the presidency. Obama is far less qualified than Bush was, and is way less qualified than McCain is, but please Mag7, can we get on track? BUSH IS NOT RUNNING THIS YEAR.

Pendamon, how can you expect Demorats to get the facts straight when you know they are never inhibited by the truth. They just make things up for the sound bite value or take excerpts from the moveon.org playbook. Biden's speech was pathetic. He made some commitments that he will be asked about and doesn't have a prayer of keeping. But he will reply "look my I.Q. is higher than yours. Actions talk, B.S. walks.

Wrong Pendamon this election is about Bush. If you want to elect Bush II vote McCain. If you think the last eight were great, vote McCain and more of the same.
