God said the meek would inherit the earth. He had to have known that the meek would include all those who want what others have worked hard for & sacrificed for. Our society started heading down the toilet in the 1960's when individual wants replaced strong families. The media and Hollywood are mere reflections of the Democratic party. They worship themselves and other people's stuff. Obama has benefited fromy these angry, immature secular types and the media has protected him since Day 1. My former party will not be happy until socialism is ingrained in us and religion (Christianity) is passe. They want big government, no defense, no capitalism and an end to a great country. Obama will give that to them. We're all doomed providing the polls are correct. But never underestimate things; the media didn't expect Bush to win his last term. The looks of disappointment and frustration on their unprofessional faces is exactly what I want to see again!

I am amazed that so many Americans are willing to allow Obama to take the US down a path that will cripple us. Please consider: Obama’s Election -One Small Step for One World Government - One Giant Leap for Mediocrity found at: http://zachjonesishome.wordpress.com/2008/07/28/obama-one-world-government-giant-leap-for-mediocrity-larry-sinclair/

Exactly! The liberal, Move-On creeps are the reason this formerly "life-long" Democrat is now a Republican. Oh, the complete unsavoriness of the Democrats' candidate. Ugh!

My fear as a still undecided is that McCain will be four more years of what we have now. And what we have now is not good. He has got to show me that he is not a bush re-do.

It looks like Obama is going to be forced back to the left whether he likes it or not. This left platform agenda is the same as the Democrats have been pursuing in the Congress for the last four years. If he is forced to follow it, it will not bend toward the center and will continue to lock up important legislation, i.e. the status quo. The Democrats are betting on power grab and with it agenda, it is socialism all the way. Social Redistribution. Social redistribution--the shift of wealth and resources from the rich to the rest of society - Democratic Socialists of America Where We Stand Section 4. Obama has named the rich as anyone making over $200,000 a year single and $250,000 a year joint; including Small Business. Guess what, HE and the Democrats will determine the inequalities of capitalism, not the system itself. Since his change agenda has been omnidirectional, I think we can expect what is commonly called chaos to follow.

The far left has controlled the Democrats for years, and will someone please tell me how marching into slavery is progress? Slavery of the masses is what the far left agenda is all about and they have the gall to call it progress.

With all the fiery rhetoric of change and hope that is swirling around in the Presidential campaign this year, let us not forget that some things, like political favors, still remain the same. Take for example the spectacular raise in pay that Michelle Obama received in January of 2005 from the University of Chicago hospitals, just two months after her husband was sworn into office as the U.S. Senator from Illinois when her salary went from $122,000 to $317,000 a year. That is a handsome increase even if it does include a one-time pension payout and a bonus. That following year, Senator Obama gave the same hospital a one million dollar earmark thereby basically giving taxpayer money to the hospital to cover Michelle's raise for years to come. Is this really how you want your tax dollars spent? Oh by the way, Senator John McCain has a long held commitment to the elimination of unauthorized and unrequested locality-specific or facility-specific earmarks listed right on his website as one of his important issues. Now that is change I can believe in Mifiti
