Whoa! THE talking point this week is Barack Obama's brother living in a slum in Kenya on one dollar a month. I care little about real estate holdings; what kind of multi-millionare brother ignores such a poor relation, when he {Barack Hussein Obama} has so much material wealth, that he admits he is rich! Big brother Barack needs to mend some fences, and fast!

Barack Obama hasn't figured out a US government program that would lift his half brother out of poverty. Also the MSM says his brother is happy with his life so there mustn't be any problem.

Foreign Policy expertise is not Commander in Chief expertise. Do not confuse the two. For the war, against the war, against Obama, for Obama. Where does Biden stand when the wind shifts? When you look at a summary of Joe Bidens foreign policy stances it ends up as blame Bush, shift the NATO war on terror from Afghanistan to Darfur and a strong foundation in global warming or climate change or whatever false predictions have evolved it to today. At least Obama's principled diplomacy has more depth than Biden's off the cuff approach.

I love Biden for Obama's vp pick. Biden is a perfect match for Obama. Biden voted against forcing Saddam out of Kuwait in 1991. In 2002 Biden voted for the war to remove Saddam from power in Iraq. This means as a candidate Biden can say, “I voted against war in Iraq before I voted for it.” Biden voted for the present Iraq war in 2002. Hmmm! What gives with that logic?? To see his recorded vote visit this address. http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=107&vote=00237&session=2

Obama's brother is happy with his lot because he sounds like a Conservative Republican. Taking responsibility for himself, not living off a government hand-out, being frugal and living within his means, not blaming his country, being humble and not a gigantic ego-maniac. I think he needs to speak at the Republican Convention and tell us all about himself and his brother and the major differences between them.

Foreign policy "experience" isn't equivocal with good judgment. And on many major issues Joe Biden has been wrong. Including supporting Jimmy Carter's policy on the ayatollahs, opposing Ronald Reagan's stance on the USSR, his back-and-forth stance on Saddam Hussein, and his general ambivalence towards the Iranians. I can't even imagine another ticket that has ever been plagued with two people exhibiting such terrible judgment.

"The hope is that Mr. Biden will help Mr. Obama overcome a major political problem: the growing perception that he is unprepared to lead a nation at war." LMAO Biden won't do a thing to change the perception on Obama. Biden won't be taking that phone call at 3am. Obama will and he's already proved he can't handle it.

I am a veteran Army Officer. I'm trying to figure out this experience argument from the republicans. The office of President Of The United States doesn't have a training program. War is not a football game. I read so many of these clowns comments, with no military experience, trying to treat war like a football game. We made a mistake going into this war without the full United Nations Support. Robert E. Franklin Officers Candidate School Class of 1985 (Duty Honor Country)

Nobama proved he is a candidate for change. With his pick of proven leftist Biden, he has now changed to old school politics as usual. Also worth mentioning is the fact, Biden was a strong Jimmy Carter supporter. That speaks for itself. Two wimps in the White House is a scary thought.

Would rather Biden was running for President then Obama but the electorate chose him so be it. Overall an excellent choice. Not that it makes a difference. The Dems could nominate anyone. Once McCain's campaign got started he lost me as soon it became apparent it was Bush the rerun. The country can't take anymore years or Presidents like Bush.

kc, get off it. President Bush is not on the ticket and if you cannot see the wide differences between he and McCain, you may have comprehension problems. But then again, maybe you prefer a socialst style government.

Biden does seem a bit of an odd choice. After all the VP is the one that is first in line to be President should anything happen. Biden has run for President (actually to be his party's nominee) more than once and has been resoundedly rejected each time - by his own Party no less. Infantry85, The Constitution says nothing about "experience" being a requirement for President. So you have bit of a point if that is what you meant by your post. But neither does it say that we have to have the "full support" of any foreign entity when it comes to use of the military. Thankfully though I can consider any aspect of a candidate when evaluating whether I will cast my vote for them for President. And as you said, there is no training program, which in these times means I will take a candidate's experience, especially military experience, into greater account. So thanks for pointing that out. By the way, how do you know the military background of any posters here (I assume that was where the clown comment was directed)?

Gov. Bill Richardson would have been a better choice than Biden. Obama has only performed successfully when he is campaigning. Obama was not effective as a community organizer by his own admissions in his books. He had some success in getting asbestos removal done in the Altgeld gardens. The dems talk about how many houses does McCain own. What about "Uncle Teddy's sail boat that was no cheap item. How many houses does Kennedy,Kerry,Gore,Edwards & Clintons all own? I believe they should THINK before speaking for other people. I use to be a demo but changed my party because of this type of blaming other folks. They never speak about real issues that our country needs to fix. They never say one word about illegals,English as official language & anchor babies made a citizen or fixing immgration. Guess that would take away a few votes for the show-off libs.
