Greg MadduxSEEN AND HEARD AT NATIONALS PARK
Something rare will happen at Nationals Park on Wednesday (No, not a Nationals victory). Greg Maddux is scheduled to start for the Dodgers in search of career win No. 354. The right-hander thus becomes the first 350-game winner to pitch in Washington since Walter Johnson’s final appearance of his career Sept. 22, 1927 (a 10-7 win over the St. Louis Browns). In fact, only one other 350-game winner has pitched in the District: Cy Young, who last was seen in these parts July 29, 1911.
