Teachers armed for school

Big deal. Utah has allowed teachers and other school employees, even janitors, if they have a conceal carry permit, to carry firearms in schcols for several years. AS far as I know, this has not caused any problems or mass killings by Utah teachers carrying guns.

Many people are opposed to teachers carrying concealed handguns because they are ignorant about firearms and the training needed to operate firearms. Many law enforcement officers have completed far less training than people assume. Anyone who takes the initiative to do so can learn to use handguns for personal protection as thoroughly as do law enforcement officers. There are no magical abilities bestowed on police! Kudos to the teachers who have taken responsibility for their safety and the safety of their students.
