Why not also consider an African-American for Veep? Say Michael Steele?
McCain will probably be a one term president and it would make sense to steal the Dem's thunder and have Steele run in 2012.
Isn't Fiorina also pro-choice? Would a woman really be accepted by conservatives?
I've a radical thought. McCain should pick a VP candidate who would be a good president! I grow tired of all these political maneuverings about what the VP candidate brings to the presidential candidate in terms of election. I long for a ticket that has governing in mind instead of campaigning.
My top choice from the people I've heard mentioned would be John Kasich. I really wish they had also looked at JC Watts. Other than that, I'm not really enthusiastic about anyone else. I like Hutchinson, but I don't think he would pick her.
