Thom: I completely agree with your analysis. Ted Lerner has a reputaion as a mean-spirited, litigous SOB. Marc Lerner is a much better guy, but Ted calls the shots. BTW, I heard on XM a discussion on the Nats by some guy from Baseball Perspective, who said their farm system has regressed, from a ranking of 14th at the beginning of the season, to the mid-20's now, with no real corner-stone prospects in the pipeline. In that light, there is no excuse for the Crow screw-up.
