Nancy Pelosi now considers herself an expert on Catholic theology. In fact, she has misstated what the Catholic church believes, and always has, about abortion. Instead of talking about theory, she should have been discussing actual abortion in the US. For example, what does she think of Barack Obama's vote in the Illinois Senate, as Chairman of the Health and Human Services Committee to vote against a bill which would protect the life of a baby born inadvertently during an abortion. In one instance, a nurse in a hospital went into the soiled linen room where a baby had been placed to die, and held and comforted it for 45 minutes while it died. She testified about this before Obama's committee. Forget theory Nancy, let's hear what you think about infanticide. And what are you, as a self-proclaimed "ardent Catholic, doing to stop this and reduce all abortions?

Lemme see if I got Piglosi girl straight.. She claims a Catholic woman has the right to choose to murder her children right up until they are ... you didn't specify the age, Nancy....Before they leave the womb, as they leave the womb, or after, and then at what age? Then she further claims that the Catholic Church as been 'arguing' about this 'problem' for ages..... What Catholic Church did she attend in Baltimore, or Californication Land? She not only needs to be drug tested but I think it's high time we banished her to her private island and sunk the ferry.

Attack dogs? Defending your religious beliefs against herasy does not constitute an "attack dog" mentality. It is simply defending and explaining the faith. Nancy Pelosi is wrong in her understanding of catholic beliefs. If she is going to state what the Catholic Church teaches, she should at least get her facts straight. You may have been a "consertive republican" all your life but you are certainly not a catholic in good standing with the church. You are not alone though; just look at the number of "catholic" politician who do support the murder of the innocent.
