Zorn is focused on one thing: building a winning football team. Why should he allow Williams' personal "revenge" or "make a statement" motive affect his gameplan? It's not even relevant. The article has it backwards. Thankfully, Zorn didn't "make it matter when it shouldn't have."

A right on article! Zorn is such a novice, it's scary (and tantalizing)to think what's ahead for the regular season. . . surly a few juicy 50-3 contests like Carolina & Jacksonville! After at least six credible head coach candidates turned down little Dano and his money, Zorn, the only available coach that actually wanted the job,is now having second thoughts! And, about now, his secluded island castle in Wash. (state)is looking awfly good to him! After his season under Dano's puppet-handeling, he'll want to become a recluse like Don Coryall! THE CHIN Cowher will be waiting in the wings to sweep up the money and the pieces for 2009. Here we go again, Dano. Another season, another mess! But, hey he's opening new retail centers almost daily, so do you think he really cares about winnning? Get Real. As long as the drunken-young fan base buy their $15 drinks and $10 cigars, Dano need not put a winning team on the field, or for that matter a competent head coach!

the DEADskins think they are ABOVE playing pre season games.....all we see is a total lack of intensity....team unprepared...and lotsa excuses.... Campbell CANNOT play at this level...Jansen is done...Samuels is totally OVER rated..... and Portis is just a pain in the ass primadona Sub .500 year and a worse team than the Gnats... Total failures on draft day in the past decade by the Buffoons in the front office have made this team a league wide joke

I think you'll find that Zorn is a genius. The "deadskins" have not been playing starters because to do so, you must play all of them and include all the packages, on offense AND defense. We have seen a mixture of mistake prone rookies, cut players, and a misleading playbook designed to confuse the Giants. Watch the aerial attack this Thursday from the Skins, and then make your comments.

Frost knew the (nonexistent) Danoskins' F.O. was going to keep their draft pick. He's lucky to be going to Seattle. I doubt he leaves without a contract. After all, Dano & Vinny's top two picks, (both WRs) are looking to the rest of the league (and everyone else paying attention), that they didn't belong in the 2nd round. Frankly, they didn't belong in the draft, the way they look! But, hey, let's applaud the good and not focus on the bad, right? See no, hear no, speak no, right? The good news about the draft is, they've got Colt Brennen! Too bad he was a Jim Zorn pick. Sorry little Dano & Vinny, no credit can be given there! And, let's not forget Tryon (which reminds me of Barry-Will-Be-Burned-Wilburn-Everytime!) Boy, that #20 is a keeper, huh?! A red alert will come on to each of the Danoskins' opponents when Tryon is on the field. The "Touchdown Light" will be glowing. On a non-draft note, I wonder if little Choo-choo Portis will allow coach Zorn to play him this coming Thurs? What a team! What is is they say? "The inmates truly run the asylum!"

clay44, I have only one real point to make to you and all your Redskins bretheren: The Redskins organization and the fans of this team don't deserve to have Jim be your head coach. He not only is a good coach but more importantly he is a man of high integrity. If given an honest and fair opportunity to be the head coach of this team he will be successful. Trust me when I say he will give his very best effort to make the Redskins a winning team and he will strive to do it the right way as well. But that is one of the core questions isn't it when it comes to this organization-will Jim be given the support needed to be successful? From the clear record of how things are done in that organization I would have to say no. And it has been no surprise to me at all at how Jim is already being critized by the fans and members of the media in DC. And this all before the he has even coached his first regular season game! And as far as his "secluded island castle in Wash. looking good to him" goes yes, it looks good to him because Seattle is home to him and his family not because he can't handle the pressure of dealing with the team, organization, media or out of control fans such as yourself. Seattle and the Pacific Nothwest will always be home to him. That and the fact that he has friends, such as myself, who have known him for many years and will support him no matter what happens in DC.
