Nothing that Planned Parenthood does surprises me. "Planned Infanticide" are a badly intentioned group.

It's not a "gift certificate" it's a death warrent! As a society, we are disgusting.

Why is this surpising to you? Look who just won the Election. Dr. Death. Senator Infanticide. Partial Birth Obama. This guy's so PRO-ABORTION, that he wants the abortion to keep going, even if the BABY survives the initial attempt to MURDER it. I'm sure you ain't seen NOTHING yet. The FREAKS and LOW LIFES, that are the BASE of the Democrat Party, really DO see this guy as their Messiah. He's one of THEM. You thought that Wright, and Ayers, and Doern, and Pfleger weren't important? THESE 'people' did. To them, these guys were the APOSTLES. They were the 'window' in to his Soul. Somebody might want to tell that little squirrely looking puke, at the NYT, you know, the 'Conservative', that he might want to remember that, before he starts knocking REAL CONSERVATIVES for bringing these things to the fore. Idiot. We're looking at a nightmare brewing.

I am not surprised. I bet PP would open an abortion clinic right next to The Manger in Bethlehem if they could.

This article is ridiculous. Planned parenthood is a crucial resource, especially for teens and younger women. It isn't centered upon abortion, but rather serves to help educate about the risks of STDs, options for birth control, as well as helping young women and men learn about parenting. Best of all, it's an option for the millions of americans who are not covered by health insurance. And as far as abortion goes, the moral nature of that is a matter of opinion. If you are pro-life, that's fine. You can have all the babies you want. But for some people whose economic situations wouldn't allow for them to take proper care of a child, I would say having the option of an abortion through planned parenthood might seem like a pretty good idea. Especially with our economy right now, I think planned parenthood is pretty important.

Shocking. Simply shocking. I can't believe the discussion about life vs. death is now a financial issue to be remedied with a gift certificate. Bah humbug.

Does the Editor actually understand the good of Plan Parenthood? I have been one of the women who at one time did not have any health insurance. Plan Parenthood was a good place for me to go for routine health care and at the time birth control pills. This organization is an essential resource to women. That does not mean I support abortions. I do agree that giving gift certificates that can be used for abortions does sound appalling and distasteful. What Plan Parenthood could and should do is limit what the "gift" certificates can be used for.

Of course contraception is basic health care ! It is fundamental for women to be able to control their fertility. And access to abortion can be life saving ! Congratulations to Planned Parenthood. These vouchers are a very good idea - a much better gift than alcohol or soap or whatever...

from: http://www.trdd.org/EUGBRE.HTM#A01 In the Birth Control Review (10), Sanger wrote in May 1919: "More children from the fit, less from the unfit ' that is the chief aim of birth control". (10) Birth Control Review, Margaret Sanger was the director of this publication from 1917 to 1928. Today black people amount for 11% of the United States population, and for 32 to 43% of abortions(17). Is this just "coincidence"? (17) 43% according to A.L.Thornton, "U.S. Statistical Survey: A Reanalysis of the 1980 Census Figures for Population Distribution and Composition," in Demographics Today, March 1983, p.62 ; according to other sources, black children are aborted 3 times more, proportionately than the American average. Please. Planned Parenthood is a business. This isn't a "healthcare" handout, it's simply an incentive. This is nothing but the continuation of Margaret Sangers euthanasia policy, and it's a two for one deal; they get business and they get to spread their Logan 5 vision. also see: http://www.idahostatesman.com/235/story/308723.html
