Thank you, Tara Wall. One had to recognize Evil before one can deal with it. George Bush recognized Evil and prevented another attack on the Homeland. Eliza

. President Bush: "The killers that struck this week are brutal and violent. But terror will not have the final word," he said. "As the people of the world's largest democracy recover from these attacks, they can count on the world's oldest democracy to stand by their side." This is moral clarity. President George Walker Bush has it. Pres-elect Barack Hussein Obama don't. Can't cram for it, neither. .

"There is one who fully grasps the kind of evil the Islamists possess,.... The other seems satisfied with "waiting" to see who the terrorists will kill next." The latter is going to be too busy redistributing wealth to bother with trivial events overseas.

Being able to recognize evil is key to dealing with the Islamasists. Problem is when Comrades Obama, Harry, and Nancy look they see America as the big evil. So Comrade Obama did the only thing he could do. He voted present!

What a garbage article, never mind the dumb responses. Your article suggests to blame President-Elect Obama even before he gets into office. The usual conservative BS we are hearing these days... Blame should be spread at the feet of the Indian government and the current Bush administration. Noted today was the prior knowledge the Indian government had of the pending attacks. And where was your so called "have not been attack since 9/11 Bush intellegence agencies"... Probably packing their bags!!!! Also, stop with the 9/11 scare tactics. These terrorists were very unsophicated coming in on small boats with small arms. This says more about the Indian Security Forces than anything else. These "thugs" should have been killed within hours not days no matter what kind of layout of the hotel they had.... As for your boy George W., nobody is paying attention to his lame statements. Certainly not the terrorists or most of the American people. As for President-elect Obama's measured response, this is exactly the kind of Presidential leadership we have not seen out of the White House in a very long time.....Good for us!!!!

You really cannot expect Obama to say anything so mean about terrorists. He might upset William Ayers. Obama has already said he would take the law-enforcement approach to dealing with terrorism. So we can rest easy knowing that each time an attack occurs, our police forces will pick up the remaining parts of the terrorists and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. "We are monitoring the situation". That's right out of the FDR playbook regarding The Holocaust.

Tbone is right about on thing. Obama cannot be faulted for not ordering the FBI to investigate because he is not the President. You can't have it both ways - taking over before his inauguration AND not acting Presidential in a crisis.

What does eliminate the "threat" of terrorism mean?

The Mumbai attack is going to be an excuse for starting another war, in Pakistan this time.
