What a trashy article. The opening paragraph contradicts everything publicly known about President Bush's plans and practices, yet Bruce Fein offers no credible supporting evidence. The valid conclusions about any Bruce Fein article is that he is blinded by "Bush hating" and he will stoop to the lowest levels to get an article published for money.

President Bush should pardon Fein!

The problem is that accusations have all been about retribution for the Clinton I impeachment. Talk of impeachments by the Dems started very early in Bush's first term. A President has the right and duty to protect his staff and HIMSELF from political motivated accusations that serve no purpose than to smear and bankrupt brought by those whose existence is souly to tear down not advance our government forward unless it is their idea of what government should be. What action can the President take against a vicious political Congress? Presidents must protect their office and administration from fear of doing something they know will be politically attacked by the Congress or their administrations will not feel free to govern. The problem is that impeachment has been turned into just another political witch hunting tool. It started with Clinton's impeachment and should be ended in the name of what is good for the country.

Fein, Ford was not compelled and could not be compelled. Separation of Powers makes your statute a non sequitor. I am surprised that Fein doesn't also propose that the President can have the members of Congress that overrode a veto be arrested for a crime if the Supreme Court later ruled the legislation unconstitutional. Fein is correct with one notion. After President Clinton, the bar has indeed been raised very high. Half of his diatribe in the second paragraph applied so well to Clinton that I had to restart just to make sure Fein wasn't talking about Clinton.

Given Bush's demonstrable contempt for Congress, the balance of powers and numerous sections of the Constitution, on what basis does Mr. Fein believe that the President would respond to either an invitation or a subpeona? Should Bush ignore a subpeona, wouldn't that on the face of it be an impeachable offense and therefore an impeachment investigation would not be required? Time to impeach!

Bruce's pontifications smacks of extreme hate in expectation of recognition by the new admin. As stated by him sunshine is the best disinfectant and Bruce should have more of it. It is a well known fact that Bruce even paints dark terrorists, lilly white

Bruce Fein will do anything for money and power... He is the paid 'spokesperson' for the manic Sri Lankan terrorist outfit, the LTTE, which is banned by the United States, Canada, the European Union (He gets paid hundreds of thousands of dollars of extorted money by terror agents in the US). Now, it appears that he is eyeing a spot in the Obama Administration by writing such articles. Guys, please don't fall for this racist conspirator's pranks.
