In plain English, Capital One should not be allowed to share in the 350 billon bailout if it is now going to purchase Chevy Chase Bank. I thought the 350 billion bailout was to help financial institutions get back on their feet after making all of those bad loans. This is our tax money you're talking about and congress is acting like the wolf in the chicken house.
I am so angered by these bank bailouts. Nothing is being done to help the american consumer that was totally screwed by these banks greed. Capital One and their false advertisments about no hassle card and now going and buying out Chevy Chase to obtain more bailout money. Is this ever going to end? Thanks Bush, Thanks Obama for your wonderful way of sticking it to the people.
