what's news in this? Crime in D.C. is normal! Next to Chicago, this must be the worst city in the country.

callmeishmael

Of course. It's run by Democrats.

Hey Joe, it's not the hotel's fault she was mugged. Try blaming the criminal next time idiot.

Mika will most certainly switch party affiliation to Republican after being mugged. Welcome to the party.

Mrs. Brzezinski, you have just been introduced to Pres. elect Obama's team on re-distribution of wealth. But next time they will require more than just $6.00 And $6.00? Come on... that is not even a living wage... why so cheap? These people NEED your money;-)

Just hoping that DC won't have the "kill ratio" that Chicago has. But, that would be wishful thinking as Oslama will be moving in the White (Muslim) House.

What a surprise. Getting mugged in D.C. Instead of blaming the hotel, what's wrong with blaming the CRIMINAL. Liberals don't like that, after all, he may have had a bad up-bringing. I would be interested in seeing how many of these street thugs would be willing to risk their lives if there was a chance that the victim COULD carry a gun, but we all know that's not allowed in D.C. so they have free reign.

Sweetheart.. you are very lucky you didn't get shot by the bros of DC the $6 is not the issue.. you could have been killed by the bros of DC.. and of course you didn't have a .45 calibar for self defense did you. They will kill you even if you give them the money... you are a very lucky woman to be alive. by handing over the $6 you helped encourage the criminals to do it again and again... you must be living in a utopian mindset... buy a gun .. stop enabling criminals.

Was this a mugging? I was mugged in Mexico City, knocked to the ground and left bleeding. I was robbed in a pizza parlor in Detroit. Ordered to lay on the floor in the kitchen by a man with a gun. This sounds like a PANHANDLER getting his groove on! I get panhandled every nite in Atlanta!

I thought crime was banned in DC!

welcome to Obama's real world and to obama's real friends, who now think that they have license to do as they please...the thug hit you up for whatever you had...and it makes the news as a despicable act... Nobama and his democrat thugs will hit us up for whatever we have (left) in their misguided quest for a more equitable society and he will be canonized.

YOUR OPTIONS> 1. Join NRA, attend a Gun handling & Safety course also learn the Law re use of force re your locality. Obtain a consealed carry permit, purchase and practice regularly at a range with your firearm. Walk quietly but never walk in fear again. 2. Do nothing or worse advocate for more Gun Control laws. However the criminal who mugged you didn't regard the law prohibiting robbery, so I doubt he will be much concerned about illegal possession of a firearm..

Tax EVERYTHING in NY State. No right to self defense in DC. Yep, just keep on voting in those Democrats. You'll have a LOT more of this kind of garbage.

She doesn't look "mugged" --not a mark on her I heard. Just saying..., perhaps threatened for six bucks, not mugged.

I blame the Republicans and so should Mika. I watch her every day and hang on her every word and she has with great subtlety pointed out that the Republicans are the root cause of all problems. And that Obama will fix it all. So I have only one thing to say: Mika wait until Obama is president. There will be no muggings. (I think you said that too.)
