What a load of ...! Why should this woman get any special consideration for appointment to the job of Senator ---- what just because she's a Kennedy?! The fact that Hilary was her predecessor hardly inspires confidence, and since when did Hilary set the standard for public service. Other than that Caroline K. Schlossberg is a Kennedy and her uncle wants to build the family empire, what political, military, business, or diplomatic positions has Ms. Schlossberg held? Are we gradually lowering the bar in America so that elected high offices such as Senator become the domain of the great political dynasties only --- available only to Kennedys, Clintons, Bushes, or Udalls? I find it hard to believe that a large state like New York can't find within its government or legislature someone with more experience. I'm sure Ms. Schlossberg is a wonderful mother and human being, but the State of New York probably has hundreds of thousands of other wonderful mothers and human beings --- seems like NY could raise the bar a little higher than that. The last great Kennedy, in my opinion, was JFK. Since then, it's been downhill ever since.

She will have no problem getting the appointment. We live in a world of social conscience. We owe it too her. Just like the evils of racism, we must prove to the world that we have overcome them. The media will wrap up the integrity, morality and reality supporting the appointment or vote. The rest remains with the image or in this case the name.

She'll get her birthright senate seat because we're a pathetic nation of sycophants who worship at the alter of celebrity. She'll be welcomed into the house of lords.

Her main qualification is that she will vote the way "Ted" and Moscow want her to.

I believe I read where she was smart enough not to let Uncle Teddy drive her anywhere near water.
