DOMENECH: Sacrificing for freedom

Ben Domenech admitted to extensive plagiarism. He did so only after the evidence became overwhelming. He first lied and spun and blamed others. He is utterly without honor. Why is he being printed by this publication?

What a great column and a true demonstration of what patriotism demands. My best wishes to Mr. Domenech's brother and his family.

Domenech was thoroughly exposed as a serial plagiarist. But rather than admitting his dishonesty and apologising to those he had harmed, Domenech showed his true colours with a series of lies, denials, and excuses. In response to those who revealed his plagiarism he said, "To my friends: thank you for your support. To my enemies: I take enormous solace in the fact that you spent this week bashing me, instead of America." What a dishonest, un-christian, pathetic and cynical response. It is surprising only that he didnt accuse his critics of being traitors. He ultimately confessed after the evidence became undeniable but showed no remorse. Dump this guy.

Wow, how pathetic is this guy. Looking back he has spammed a bunch of articles on this site with the same comments. This is a moving piece of writing and very hearfelt and true in my opinion. I've forwarded it to several of my friends who've served, and I know they feel the same way, regardless of whatever "homeschooled" is complaining about.
