SCHLAFLY: Global Agenda? 12/27/08 The great tragedy is that for the past 20 years or so, almost everyone with real power within the Beltway has hated the U.S. Constitution and the great nation which it created, and has worked to destroy both. To do so, they are gradually folding the U.S. into the UN, a corrupt, incompetent hard-left socialist organization that is aching to dictate to Americans how we must lead our lives and think our thoughts. To get some idea as to what we are in for, all you have to do is look at the UN's disastrous track-record. The Democrats are open and honest about their aim: they believe that if we Americans become the helpless subjects of the UN, then the UN can do a much-better job of hammering us all into docile little liberals than the U.S. politicians can, because we can't vote the UN officials out of office. But the Republicans have to be sneaky. For example, George W. Bush initiated the North American Union (about which we will soon hear a great deal more), and he handed huge chunks of our national sovereignty over to faceless administrators of various international and global trade-organizations, which will undoubtedly be folded into the UN in another ten or twenty years. Same objective, different methods. Virtually all of our Washington politicians are anxious to put us under the control of a hostile global-government because that's what our supercapitalists--the people who own our government--want. The great myth (carefully sustained by the media) that the U.S. has two different political parties is based upon the public's firm belief that business abhors government regulation. No. Small business hates government regulation. Big business--particularly big big big business--loves government regulation, because biggest business controls the money supply, thus controls the government. And biggest business then uses the government to get taxpayer subsidies, to maintain virtual monopolies, to shoot down smaller competitors, to gain entry into markets around the world. Therefore, our supercapitalists are also supersocialists. If you read our history carefully enough, you can see that. Morgan and Rockefeller, the two supercapitalists who shaped the 20th-century U.S. economy, both stated publicly that they wanted a planned economy (to eliminate messy competition). And they really wanted a global planned-economy. Thus, when Woodrow Wilson failed to sell the U.S. on membership in the obviously-unworkable League of Nations, it was Rockefeller and Morgan money that established the Council on Foreign Relations in 1921 to sell the public on the League--and later on the UN. Gradually the CFR succeeded. What we have today is a federal government filled with politicians who despise the form of government they are supposed to be sustaining, and are working hard to trash it--and our liberty along with it.

Barack Obama should focus first on being a citizen of America. This one world government crap needs to get kicked to the curb. Our check and balance on a President who's gone rogue about giving up America's sovereignty to the UN or other powers is supposed to be the Congress. Unfortunately, in their effort to teach the Republicans a lesson, the American people elected a bunch of liberal socialists who have no problem with America taking orders and obeying restrictions imposed by foreign diplomats and terrorist states, courtesy of the UN.

BHO will take an oath of office to "protect and defend the US Constitution". Giving any sovereignty to any other foreign government is against that oath. Impeachment should be demanded by the American people in such a case.

The US is the leader in most things global, and should take an active part (if not the lead) in crafting articles of law, trade agreements and the like. The treaties mentioned have been in place for years, but have not been ratified by the US. They deal with subjects which should have treaties, and subjects where the US should be a leading participant. Most voters understand this and are OK with Obama's position. These are treaties which should have ratified years ago.

Hi Phyllis, the attempts by the elite to establish their New World Order, One World Government and One World Currency is no secret. The only way it is 'secret' is the public incredulity that it is happening. They are about 95% done. If anything, your article is weak in pointing out just how far they are along. I took a flight last week in Europe and the penalty for late departure or lost luggage was in SDRs (Special Drawing Rights, the new One World Currency) and not Euros. I mean, it's printed right there on the ticket stub. That is about as 'secret' as screaming it from the rooftops. The Fed already does international settlements in SDRs. The elite are no longer concerned that people find out about their plans, they think they have won, and they may be correct. Obama is a puppet. Try looking at some of his youtube videos where he has no teleprompter to tell him what to say. Joe 'blabber mouth' Biden was talking about how super-Obama would be 'tested in his first 100 days'. Many people believe this may well be a pointer to another 9/11 (which was an inside job) and a pretext to go to marshal law in the US. Your congressmen were 'threatened' with 'possible marshal law' if they did not approve the bail out for the banks. I mean, NONE of this is 'news'..it is all over youtube. Your congress had a closed/secret meeting in March (reportedly only the 4th time ever) in which possible marshal law was discussed according to those brave congressmen who risk prison to tell people this. The Globalist Agenda is real and coming save some form of miracle.
