Jim Zorn could not lead the Redskins to their first back-to-back winning seasons since 1996-97.Can Jim Zorn coach?
That’s the question Washington Times sports columnist Thom Loverro is asking this week.
Loverro’s take: We don’t know any more about Zorn’s ability to lead a team than we did when the Washington Redskins hired him to coach last February. That’s what a 6-2 first half followed by a 2-6 second half of the season will do for a team.
With the offseason upon us, at least here in Washington, expect Vinny Cerrato and team owner Dan Snyder to start shaking up the roster a bit. But it certainly looks like the Redskins will have the same coach. And maybe a year from now we’ll have a better idea of what kind of coach the Redskins have in Zorn.
