The Human Rights Commission of new Mexico is clerly biased. It is a joke to try to protect the debatable lesbians freedom and deprive the photographer of his very freedom. Why ask him to give up his personal convictions to satisfy the so-called lesbian couple. Discrimination is not a case here. If say this photographer refused to photograph a black couple, a spanish one, or a Muslim one, then the Human rights commission should charge him of discrimination. As a Muslim myself, I fully support the photograher. Of course, I believe that legalizing such homosexual relationships is not acceptable. If it were acceptable, it wouldn't have been the result of long political and social debates.
The photography company is owned by a woman I believe, Elaine, and the HRC is for the protection against discrimination of lesbians as well as gays, bisexuals and transgenders. The previous commenter may be confusing them with the ACLU.
Had this been 50 years ago before long political and social debates that resulted in change, her refusal to photograph a black couple would've gone unnoticed.
