Thank you, Mr Obama, this latest outrage performed for you by your surrogates has done for John McCain what he never could have convinced me to do for him himself, vote for him. I served in the US Army, however unlike my uncles who are veterans of the Vietnam and Korean wars, and my father who passed away two years ago and was a Korean War vet, I never served in war time. So I feel a little foolish not giving them more credit when they were upset with me for not being willing to commit to McCain, or at the very least admit what a threat Obama is. Well, one thing for certain they sure were right about Obama, and now I too will do anything I can to keep that disgrace out of the White House. What an outrage, I'm completely disgusted right now. Mr. Obama, you don't have a slight clue as to what patriotism is!!

the only patriotism in question is obama's.... WE DO NOT NEED OBAMA TO DEFEND MCCAIN. this is an attmept for obama to silence andyone questioning obama's patriotism... by him linking himself with mcCain, he's hoping no one asks him about his patriotism lest they ask about mcCain... obama is trying to silence anyone taunting McCain's fantastic trump card by making them think they should not bring it up.... and by so doing dont bring his up....

SORRY OBAMA... DIDNT WORK... YOU ONLY ADDED THE STAR AND STRIPES AND SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS TO MCCAIN'S MUCH DESERVED ELECTION AS PRESIDENT. if anyone deserved it - it is he. you bring a speech you did in 2004 but what we need is EXPERIENCE A-N-D CHANGE.. WE NEED SOMEONE TO HEAL OUR NATION.. THIS IS NOT TIME TO TAKE CHANCES ON WHAT YOU "MIGHT" be capable of, and judging from your past performance we must NEVER trust whatever you say.... what you say and what actually IS are two completely different animals.

July 1, 2008 at 3:44 a.m. ============== what an excellent post. i wish to use it on another blog with your permission, i will put it in quotes..... THIS IS VERY STRONG STUFF. you are a true testament that your relatives' labor did not go in vain and as i do believe in an afterlife, i am sure they smiled at your decision and your post. ON SEPCIAL OCCASSIONS WEAR TWO FLAG PINS, SOMEONE WILL ALWAYS ASK YU "HOW COME TWO?" and that will be your opportunity to brag on the sacrifices of your relatives.

This was planned by Team Obama start to finish. Nothing in the Obama campaign is left to chance and Clark is a senior advisor doing Obama's dirty work. Meanwhile Obama was ready with his response to put himself above the fray. Look at his response, especially the comment about McCain being "physically tormented" while a POW. That was carefully thought out in advance to avoid any mention of the word "torture". Obama knows he cannot say McCain was tortured because "torture does not work" is a Democratic and Obama talking point. Since McCain appeared in NV propaganda after being tortured Obama must avoid any mention of that word. It also brings to light just what McCain went thru and Obama wants as little attention on McCain's POW experience as possible. The attack and response was carefully scripted to accomplish these goals.

Question of the day

White House officials and Senate Democrats met in private three times last week to craft health care legislation. Do you think these discussions should be more public?
