SWOGGER: Cool off on health scares

Overall, I have to agree with Dr. Swogger. Technology has enabled humans to greatly extend our lifespans. That is where my agreement ends, however. I thought it might be interesting to look at Dr. Swogger's credentials, specifically his trusteeship of the "American Council on Science and Health". I was saddened to find that while this group is not for profit, it is funded by a myriad of different corporations from Campbell Soup to Monsanto. This doesn't take away from Dr. Swogger's conclusion that technology has been good to us, but it does make his casual dismissal of BPAs as just more hype a bit worrisome.
