Nowhere in this article does it address the cause of the escalating food and energy costs. Was there a trigger event? Did the global warming "crisis" happen to destabilize a food production market in equilibrium? Are we already in a cycle of "cascading crisis" helped along by the IPCC and U.N. endorsements? The U.N. is fundamentally a bureaucratic organization only capable of pointing out objectives but incapable of meeting them because of a lack of authority. They really need to place more emphasis on reality in their analysis and resolutions in order to help prevent this cascading crisis model. With global warming connected to food and energy state of fear, they became the source of missing their objectives.
