Of course Mr. Feulner makes no mention of Helmes' opposition, to the day he died, of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. He was a great advocate of freedom, if it did not include freedom of blacks to sit in a coffee shop with whites or ride anywhere in a bus. That sort of freedom was beyond is understanding.
