Scott McClellan Questioned about Neocon Push for Iraq War and the coming War with Iran: http://neoconzionistthreat.blogspot.com/2008/06/scott-mcclellan-questioned-about-neocon.html

Here is a question for the diplomats. Will they take responsibility for a nuclear Iran and the subsequent impact on the Middle East, Israel and possibly the globe?

Iran's alleged nuclear program has always been just a pretense for an attack. If we were really concerned about nukes in the hands of radicals we would have attacked Pakistan a long time ago. The real reason the U.S. wants to attack Iran is the same reason we attacked Iraq: both countries started or were about to start denominating oil sales in euros instead of dollars. Allowing such a thing to continue would threaten the dollar's reserve currency status, especially now that our currency is practically worthless. Go Sox!

Wars, often justified with cheap excuses to mollify the public, are made to force change on the world. War with Iran (the one empire ancient Rome feared) would NOT be a walk-through. A shooting war could lead to a general conflagration in the Gulf and the fiery destruction of the homelands of the Islamic religion. If its God prove incapable of saving His holy cities and His Faithful, then Islam will crumble. And who benefits at this?

Question of the day

White House officials and Senate Democrats met in private three times last week to craft health care legislation. Do you think these discussions should be more public?
