This is a really stupid argument and waste of money and time. If Iran or anyone else wants to develop nuke weapons, let em! The US has so many nukes that, for every one that the opponent fires at us or allies, we can return thousands with far greater power and precision. In the cold war, this was known as MAD - Mutually Assured Destruction. The supposed threat now is that terrorists would launch. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to launch a nuke missile? It's not like you can just walk up and push a button or two and off it goes. Everyone in governments across the world understand this fact - hey, you can kill your enemy across a border or an ocean with a missile or two, but you won't live to see it on TV for more than about 10 minutes.
