Nancy Pelosi is a hoax. Tapping the nations oil reserves is simply a political move to get the Democrats past the election cycle. It may bring down the price, just long enough to get them reelected. But before any congressional candidate or presidential for that matter gets my vote, I want a long range plan, not a political band aid that comes off after the election. Neither Reid or Pelosi have provided any legislation that proves they can think past the next election cycle. Obama's entire energy policy is focused on carbon reduction which is tied to climate change with is tied to global warming with is tied to global governance (per Jacques Chirac). Therefore, his long term energy plans are will be founded in global controls and not national. The logic: if the EU is paying $8 a gallon and failing to meet their carbon reduction goals, why shouldn't the U.S. share part of the fiscal loss, just to be competitive and allocate the worlds financial resources according to the liberal social elites. No wonder they love him the EU, he can make socialism successful for a short period until the U.S. evolves standards of decency of a mature civilized society. Then we just become part of the New World Order.

Once again, Democrats have proven that they are not inhibited by the truth. The record is so clear that if the media would go back to 1996 forward, they will clearly see what has led to this energy crisis. Pelosi is a joke. They sound like a broken record with their scripted "they have 68 million acres they are not using-blah blah blah" If they would cease their obstruction to what would be highly productive areas such as the Destin dome and other gulf areas (which by the way could produce relatively soon 2-4 years) and also ANWR (a little longer), the psychological impact on the world market (once American resolve for this became evident) would lower market prices almost over night. All American citizens should be outraged over this and reflect it in November. If only the "responsible media (joke) could get behind this. Let's try it---drill now!!!!
