Illegal hiring could be 'mistake'

As a former small business owner, unless you are presented with good forgeries of I-9 required documents, you cannot unwittingly hire illegals, if you follow the rules. If you have the good forgeries on file, with your hiring documents, as you are supposed to, then you can demonstrate that you acted in good faith. Employers who hire a host of illegal immigrants do it knowingly and intend to have them work as indentured servants with below standard wages and little or no benefits. Stop feeling sorry for these low life employers who have abused these people and who have obfuscated the hiring of American citizens.
