If you like Coast to Coast then you will just love the WUFO.TV Network airing 24/7 on broadcast television station 49, WWTD, in the Washington DC market. It airs the same material as Coast to Coast, but in video, all day and night. It is a great place to actually see the people and content you hear on Coast and elsewhere...and no matter which time of day or night it is on!
Noory has done an excellent job in filling in for Art Bell, the butcher of the C2C grocery chain of all things unusual. Bell got down to the bone and it got bloody. He is the one that built the business, and Art is the smooth talking salesman who has given this talk venue credibility. He may not be bright, but he's a great host that would have to work to offend his listeners.
Listening to Coast to Coast is great..now you can see the same content on the WUFO.TV Network. This station rocks airing 24.7 on broadcast channel 49. All day and all night you can watch this channel and have you mind enlightened..... This station belongs on Cable. Listen to Coast to Coast and if you live in the Washington DC area check out channel 49. If not from the DC area visit wufo.tv on the web.

Red Dog: "He may not be bright"? clearly you havent been paying attention. whether in reference to Bell or Noory, you're wrong on both counts. Like you said, Bell built the business to what it is now, no simple accomplishment and Noory has recall ability boardering on photographic. These guys are both remarkable, masters in their field, able to make even the weakest topic/guest (an unfortunate but rare occurance) into an exciting 3-hour experience.
I've been listening to C2C since I was thirteen. I would stay up all night on the weekends and listen to Art. There are memorable moments like the "Voices From Hell" soundclip that scared the hell out of me. The John Leer interviews, time travel experiments and tale from witches rank up there. I'm thirty now and still listen in whenever I can. Even on those late night trip to the bathroom, I turn the radio on to hear George Noory's subject for the night and on many occasions, I'm in there for hours. My wife is my witness. She'll even bring me a pillow to get comfy. Art, George, special guests, and the callers, Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the years of keeping me company late at night. With C2C around, we will never be alone. From a friend you don't know, Danny M. in L.A.
No, as good-hearted as George is, and as successful at his craft, he's just not that smart. I don't mean his credulousness, or his apparent willingness to swallow whatever whooper this week's cosmic snake oil salesman is pitching. That's just his on-air style, and I don't mind it. What I do mind is his lack of study about the serious things he would comment on or discuss.
I mean he is fairly ignorant of virtually any year in history other than 1947. Politically he is naive, suggesting childishly simple or blatantly unconstitutional solutions to longstanding and complex issues. He shows a deep misunderstanding of both the US style of government as well as the basic tenets and philosophy of criminal law. Not that the average Joe does either; but your average 3-million-listener-audience radio host with a 7-figure contract, who regularly comments on and interviews lawyers and activists about legal and criminal cases or issues of the day, usually knows, say, that we have three separate and co-equal branches of government with clearly defined limits and severely limited powers; and they cannot just do what "feels right".
Look, he's a good-hearted and sweet-natured man, just not very aware of that big chunk of the world that operates in the sunlight. I just wish he would leave things he doesn't know about alone - like tax protesters, or search and seizure law, or anti-terrorism legislation; and not allow cranks and fringe nut-jobs to spin their obsessive fantasies and conspiracy theories to an equally gullible and ignorant audience. He does a real disservice there.
I frequently listen to the show before falling asleep, and sometimes I stay awake to continue listening. I think the unskeptical and unscientific stance of the host is deplorable, and so many of the callers seem irrational. I do accept the possibility of the existence of UFOs and sasquatch, but unlike the host and callers, and many of the guests, I don't throw all logic to the winds. My favorite guest is Michio Kaku, the brilliant physicist, who is fascinating on the radio. At times I am quite angry with the show for its participation in spreading insane (mis)information that sounds like it belongs back in the Dark Ages. Our species ought to have learned how to use our brains since then.
How dare you call C2C audience "gullible and ignorant"? You sound like one of them government men in black doing what you do best...misinformation. You are trying to make George look like a clown but we are on to you jum1801. You know we are close to the truth and you are scared. Just kidding jum1801. But c'mon, there was really no need to call the audience gullible and ignorant. That was uncalled for. The show is what it is. Entertainment for the late night. There is a reason the show in on at night and not mornings and that is because of people who share the same views as you do. Don't take life so serious. I wish the governmnet was more open with it's people. I think that would "feel right". George says what he thinks not what his listeners should think. That's the difference between him and those morning radio hosts.
in the first place over 15 to 20 million people listen to c2c worldwide. information from this show is sometimes leaps and bounds before any of your so called main info outlets comes to the mainstream. The bird flu for instance was supposed to be worldwide and destroy humanity. Not to the scientists that c2c talked to.. A new diesase has been in the forefront and discussed way before the mainstream caught on (morgellens).. The bee problem, oil, politics you name it and the c2c audience is the most informed audience in the world. If George is lenient with his guests and other call in persons.wll guess what we like it that way. Maybe if you listened to his program for a while, buy some of the books read the web sites. Then and only then will you gullible and ignorant mainstreamsts understand whats really happening in this world. thank you ed.
I first found out about Coast to Coast am because I was looking up Edgar Cayce on the Internet. Once I started listening I got hooked because of the angels and ancient topics, especially the pyramids. I became more interested with the science and health topics. I didn’t really get into the UFO topics until they kept showing up in the regular news. The more I listened, the more I got hooked. Now I can’t get enough! I have a hard time staying up until 5am so I became a streamlink member and I am so happy I did. Now I can listen to George all day, and rehear parts I missed the first time if I want, and whenever I want. And even though the show is automatically down loaded to my C2C file, I visit the web site at least once a day. I hardly listen to any other news, I even stopped watching TV. I love you George! Don’t wait until 2012, run for president now. Ian, I love you, too! You would make a great Vice President. Just be sure to bring the whole Coast to Coast am crew to the White House with you. I think all of you are wonderful and do a GREAT job! Thank you!!!
I have to agree with comments about Noory's excessive credulity. He seems to believe anything, and enthusiastically encourages the most ridiculous and unproven beliefs. Art Bell was more demanding of guests and always asked for supporting evidence. Not Noory. Moreover, he accepts just about any claim about a person's credentials. Many guests claim to be important scientists, doctor this, professor that, but when you look up their biographies, far too many either lack any real academic training or cite mail order schools and other unaccredited institutions no one has ever heard of. Yet he lets them claim just about anything and often encourages them to ridicule people who really are trained scientists or physicians. The show is entertaining, for sure, but intellectually harmful. America is getting dumber every year and I think this show contributes to the growing influence of superstition and pseudo-science.
C2C is the place where people can think outside the box. Hey, sometimes even fall out of the box. But nobody really gets hurt.
If you like the topics on C2C then you'll like The Ezekiel Code, a Metaphysical/Mystery/Adventure/Thriller on a grand scale. See the video trailers and read the reviews at www.ezekielcode.com.
"2012 is coming...The clock is ticking...The code must be deciphered...And only one man can save the planet...If he can just figure out how –– before it's too late."
The greatest question is...who is the bigger no-talent hack: George Noory, or
the author of this article, which reads like a paid infomercial for Noory? Can you say self-serving fluff piece? What ever happened to real content, or research...For one example, regarding on of the few "facts" in the article, Noory was a Naval _Reserve_ Officer, stateside and land-locked, and not active duty, involved in Public Affairs---not standing at the bow of a battleship charging into the South Pacific, an image the casual mention given might conjure up. But, ignoring the question of why this article was ever written in the first place, some good can come of it by taking this oppurtunity to let the record show that Noory is a truly terrible host of Coast-to-Coast AM. His ONLY positive attribute is his oft-mentioned mellifluous, dulcet voice...beyond that, he mangles words and sentences routinely, his interviewing skills are abysmal, he never asks thoughtful or challenging question---he makes Larry King look like a hard hitter---and his questions are largely scripted, and frequently delivered as if he is not even paying attention to the answers. His "I believe everything and twice on Sunday" persona champions un-critical thought and the dumbing down of public discourse, he shills for his many charlatan guests to the point of being complicit, and he brings the intellectual level of the show down to the moronic, where "there are no coincidences", and "trusting your gut" are the rules of the day, even in serious scientific matters such as
the oil geology or climate change. And, finally, but perhaps not surprisingly, he is a phony---his often stated mission to get the truth out to his audience is in direct contradiction to his favored regular guests such as Hoagland, Morton, and Jones, widely knowns as crazies phonies and demagogues, yet he acts as their Ed McMahon as the spew their ersatz theories and hawk their wares...The truth is, he is simply such a poor host, he needs such verbal firehouses to prop us his show, due to his own lack of verbal ability...and, true to his phony nature, he often boast s of "breaking" news stories that showed on on Drudge well before he ever cribbed them and read them in his news moment....It is probably most telling that the weekend hosts, Ian Punnet and George Knapp, are both vastly better hosts who can enage a guest in a stimulating, intelligent, interview, and, in the case of Knapp, create the aura of suspense and mystery that was a key to Art Bell's success. Once the show was handed over to Noory, all he has done is steer the Coast-to-Coast ship into the shallow waters of dumbed down, mass appeal...let us hope Admiral Noory runs aground soon, and has to turn over command to one of the weekend first officers.
This article reminds me of a newspaper I once worked for which promised good food reviews to any restaurant purchasing at least one quarter-page ad in each edition for a month.
As for George Noory himself, he has threatened lawsuits against listeners who apparently don't ask "please may I?" before posting online corrections to his ongoing mistakes or criticize his flipflops, propaganda, fear mongering and other nonsense that should have drawn the attention of the FCC long ago.
