Such a typical Democrat response. Create an energy crisis by perpetually blocking more domestic production and then recommending giving relief to beleagured families by providing more goverment aid to them via "relief" checks. Their stock in trade is creating a dependency in order to gain votes. I am so sick and tired of hearing that more drilling won't lower energy prices. Of course it will. The psychological impact of a commitment to expand America's domestic energy and the message it would send to the rest of the world would lower costs almost immediately and the Democrats know it. They have built themselves into a corner and are fearful of the impact that a success would give to the Republicans.

I bet Bill hit that!
