Is there a religious or other component to the issue of violence in Sudan, or is this just a case of national-level "black on blacker" crime, as stated in the editorial? Nowhere in any Times articles have I been able to find an explanation of the motive for this genocide.
With all the names involved seemingly Muslim sounding, is there something the world is failing to address here--that a group of one religion is doing its best to elminate, by one means or the other, all others in the region. Unusual? When does it become obvious enough from all the aggressive actions from around the world that there is a real problem with the teaching and subsequent actions of the followers of this religion? Peace will break out in the Sudan and the rest of the world when the rest of us is: 1) submissive?; 2)dead?; 3)members of that religion?; 4) other? If there is an other, many of us would like to know what it is_______________.
