How can you give Bowden a "C". The team has gotten worse each year. Even if some of the prospects in Harrisburg come through, the team won't be respectable for 3 more years at best. This team and Bowden are what their record says they are: They are the worst team in baseball!
Bill is correct. The same can be said for Acta. Yes you could point to injuries but that does not change the fact that the Roster the Jimbo got and the players Acta puts on the field lack effort, fundamentals, and love of the game. Injuries have nothing to do with these issues. You do not need talent to play hard and like Willy Harris....'the right way"...
You think it's bad now, wait until Bowden signs the strike out machine that is Adam Dunn this winter. I still believe in the plan, but I am fast losing my patience with Bowden on the way he has preformed his job.
Bowden is nothing more than BSer. Bowden got a C, thats funny. Time for him to go. Maybe he can use some of that money he skimmed for an early retirement.
