How in the world can anyone associated with the Democratic party not view McCain "favorably"? Him getting only a 5% favorable rating suggests that many people could not care less about issue's, past positions or a stable world.
This is about race, pure and simple. Obama can take any position he wants and he will still get 85% of the black vote.
