Eventually, most Americans are going to realize this (would-be) emperor has no clothes. I just pray it's before November. Isn't it interesting that one wins the Dem. nomination with a "shoot-from-the-hip-style" and promising the most speedy defeat possible in Iraq. When it's time for the general election however, and the audience is no longer just America-hating emos, the nominee has to put on his big boy pants and formulate a reasonable policy. Like everything else about his campaign for President, Obama's objective is to make sure nobody knows the real him...which would be rejected outright.
There are a lot things integrity can resolve over inexperience, its just that a lawyers integrity is based on logical consensus and Obama doesn't have the leadership experience. Recent news articles indicate that Pakistan is becoming the main problem with Afghanistan. It provides political and military instability with regard to pursuing the Taliban to the point where the terrorists are consolidating with militia's inside the Pakistan border. One of Pakistan's primary concerns is that the U.S. will leave Afghanistan and provide India with a venue to enter. Withdrawing from Iraq would only enhance that belief. The only solution in Afghanistan right now is to secure the borders with Pakistan. If we couldn't do it in Iraq, how does he expect to do it in Afghanistan? You cannot win a war in defensive mode and you cannot go across the border to fight offensively. How are two combat brigades going to solve the problem? Has he consulted with the area commander? Iran is threatening to close the Straits of Hormuz if Israel attacks. Both the U.S. and Israel are against Iran obtaining nuclear weapons. Will Obama's precipitous withdrawal or "residual" force be able to contend with such an event? Obama's statements are causing uncertainty while McCain's integrity is providing him some stability on this issue.
