The world has developed political, economic and cultural systems around carbon fuels for over 100 years. Al Gores has no idea of the impact of a cold turkey switch to his alternative systems (e.g. how did the biofuels deal turn out). The alternative technology does not exist today to sustain those evolved carbon systems and therefore the economy in even 10 years. He is not even considering the existing legislation around energy. As a simile, President Kennedy's request did NOT have the survival of national economies and food production systems associated with the goal. Al Gore has provided NO impact analysis other than the dubious cost in trillions of dollars. Before such an investment, most people need a risk analysis. Al Gore cannot provide this because his global warming predictions are not being fufilled, i.e. the switch to climate change and climate crisis. He is using a Y2K state of fear process supported by a hot spot, tree ring, hockey stick model of prediction called consensus science that indicates anything humans do results in extreme climate change. Gore is taking advantage of an unstable energy/economic situation and we need stability before deciding on a such an important path to the future. We should determine our energy requirements, determine our carbon fuel constraints, stabilize the existing environment, come up with a plan for transitioning to an alternative environment and then pass scalable legislation to meet that plan. President Kennedy did not tell us how to do it, he simply said we should set the goal. Al Gore is telling us how to do it. He is not a prophet, he is a Rain Maker.

What does it take to make the public aware of what a sham algore's lunatic ravings are? This man is completely unhinged and a clear and present danger to the United States and the well being of every citizen. Oh, and I forgot to mention the typical Democrat's stock in trade which is to create dependency groups that they cater to for their votes.

Hey Gore. Go back to Florida and count the votes again. There's a still a good chance you could pull off the 2000 election. Stay there and count until you win.

Al Gore, just shut up and go away, already.

While former Vice President Al Gore was giving his monumental speech, his motorcade outside had their motors running with the air conditioning going for the length of his tirade. I am sorry, but this man is one of the most hypocrital and dangerous men in our country when it comes to the legislation that he and Bill Clinton managed to pass during their 8 year term. We are experiencing the tragic results now. The do nothing Congress with a majority of Democrats are sitting on their hands, after all, this is an election year and they owe special interest groups and are more concerned about election or re-election that the rest of us. If you take the time to read all the data, Mr. Gore is out of touch, creating false data from sources that are favorable to his views and ignoring any adverse data. In reality, his agenda is and always has been very clear. He is and always has been a complete embarrassment to this country even though the tree huggers and enviro-terrorists take him seriously and we are suffering because of it. Wake up American citizens. Read more and get informed by all the data that is out there.

If take a close look at the poster board that the guy is holding in the photo with this article you will notice the one on the right references Gore’s monthly energy usage. According to data collected from the Tennessee Center for Policy Research, Gore’s personal energy consumption is 20 times that of the average American. To put this in perspective, Gore uses as much energy in one month as you or I do in an entire year. His 2006 electric bill was nearly $30,000. Bear in mind this is only his electric usage. I wonder what his carbon footprint looks like…
