In the 70's there were some excellent books on narcissism, which may still be in print. Also, newer studies. If anyone wants to understand dictators, like Chavez, and presidents, like Bill Clinton, I suggest you read up on narcissism. Essentially, EGO. That will explain almost everything about these people. In Chavez's case, add paranoid schizophrenia.
Just one more lesson in reality for Reid and Pelosi, it's U.S. dollars he is buying with. It's time to drill, not wait for technology that is not here to catch up with the Democrats liberal optimism. Maybe 'aggressive" principled diplomacy will talk him out of it.
Ehh, WE could give them advanced weaponary, it doesn't mean they'll know how to use it. The guy just wants to stand out and make a name for himself. I am glad that at least in the beggining, the U.S. ignored him. I thought that was hilarious.
