I'm not so sure that Serbia and Karadzic are quite the bad guys they're made out to be everywhere outside of Serbia. What's been missing from the beginning is a fair hearing for the Serbian side of the story. A case can be made that they were simply resisting the islamification of their homeland. Definitely not a black and white issue.
xtc409,
The Serbs may have been "resisting the islamification of their homeland" as you state, but that doesn't justify what happened. You don't execute 8,000 people simply as a means of resistance to cultural change, you do that as a mean of inflicting terror on civilian populations in order to control them. That's a trademark of despotism. This man is just another despot who was willing to use any means to achieve and maintain control, including murder and torture, and he deserves everything that will happen to him.
