Here is the issue with Obama's "audacity" or elite arrogance. He is assuming if he is president, the entire nation will fall in step with what he says. In reality he needs to look at how the Democrats supported President Bush to find out what he up against. There are a lot of citizens that do not believe in his socialist values and would like retain their independence from government control. Until we disband the Constitution, the rest of the world in NOT the United States.

Maybe he should run for President of Germany. I got one word for Obama -- "Dewey". That poor slob confused Election Day with Inauguration Day. Obama is the modern equivalent of Dewey. Let the American people take note: the press has already cast your ballot for you so why bother to vote? So have the Germans and perhaps the Syrians, who see in Obama a field day for the accomplishment of THEIR goals, not America's. I repeat--- NOT AMERICA'S. So, of course they are promoting him. Good bye America!

Obama my have passed the German sniff test but he is unqualified and unfit to lead the U.S, Military. In fact, he could not pass an FBI security clearance because of his association with bomber Bill Ayers. A real American would never support this socialist, power hungry fraud.

The Europeans cannot recognize an empty suited chameleon no more than they can recognize the immigration problems that has already doomed their existence. They just don't know it yet. Think about the fact that they loved John Kerry so much. That speaks for itself. I believe that subconsciously, they want the United States to fail as badly as they have. Misery loves company.

Did Sen. Obama say he was president? Quit trying to put words in the man's mouth, even he knows you have to be elected first. The MSM is doing all the talking not him so you need to address them.

There's no question that he's walking a fine line, as Dowd noted in her recent column. He has to appear Presidential without appearing presumptuous or else people will turn against him. I'm based in Berlin and I wrote about this subject in detail on my blog (address below). I'll have more posts and on the ground coverage tomorrow in reaction to Obama's speech. innocent-abroad.blogspot.com

Mr. Lambro please stop perpetuating the fallacy that JFK spoke at the Brandenburg Gate. He did not. He was in Berlin, but he spoke at Rathaus Schöneberg which is a public square -- there's a plaque there commemorating the historic speech. When you get easily researched history wrong it tends to make people doubt the credibility of your other "facts".

Remarkable. Obama has now had an epiphany on Iran; and, after previously declaring Iran as "no threat" to American interests, and ridiculing those who thought otherwise, now declares the lead terrorist Nation in the world as a "grave threat". One has to ask what his position on the issue will be tomorrow? God help us if the majority of Americans are beguiled by this novice circus comic, who has never before performed under the "Big Tent"; and, the peddling of his "Magic Elixir " that Obama has claimed will "Heal The Planet". He and his buds are just proud of young Barack's many accomplishments, for example, acquisition of public speaking skills. But, let us not dwell on the lad's accomplishments, for we'll surely spend days and days dreaming in a most creative way. And, thank you, to the many pressboys and pressgirls for their enthusiastic attempts at modern journalism. Pity they have become little more than sycophants.

I would say that the only "inevitability" here is that Obama's going to LOSE. Why? Because what we are witnessing is A TRIP. The Dude Took A Trip. Whoooaaa! A Trip. You or I could do that. In fact, ANYBODY coud do that. In fact, let's all fly over there and meet everybody, and say hi, and sit down for a cup of coffee or whatever. Whoaaa! So impressive! What's going on here?! Who's backing this trip, anyway?????

I keep hearing people say Obama is such an "eloquent and literate" speaker, but honestly, every time I hear him speak, I just hear platitudes and slogans. Just because someone repeats something over and over with "conviction", doesn't make it True, nor Inspiring. I have yet to hear him say a single thing to stir me to think he is the answer to all our problems. Quite the opposite! All fluff...

Question of the day

White House officials and Senate Democrats met in private three times last week to craft health care legislation. Do you think these discussions should be more public?
