Dear Tony: I'm writing you here as I see no other way to contact you on line. Email contact information for the entire site is missing. All the contact info that is available is in the form of printed phone numbers and mailing addresses. Few readers on line will take the time to do this; they'd prefer to be able to shoot you a fast email. Check out the NYT: even they allow readers to email various departments. It gives the impression you guys are trying to hide behind a wall. I fear you have been had. This new web site design is an absolute disaster. Apparently, it was design by someone who disagrees with your politics. For example, it is so poorly designed that it is distinctly unpleasant to read on line. Studies show that most people hate reading white text on on a black background. And the menus are irrational. And what the hell are 'themes'? Codswallop. I suspect this was far from your intention when you decided to change it. The old version was much easier to read, and it had more news on each page. This site is just bloated and unfriendly--not well-designed at all. Also, it is not cross-browser compatible. You either had a rookie working on the project or you have been sabotaged. In any event, I'll bet your page views are down substantially from what they were. You ought to have someone who knows about user interfaces shoot this thing and put it out of its misery. Please.
