Hmmm. You would choose Dan Quayle's resume over Barack Obama's?
Where's the part about "Ivy League"?
Where's the part about "Earned degree from Top Ivy League Law School"?
Where's the part about "Elected President of Law Review by his peers and professors at his top Ivy League Law School"?
Where's the part about "Constitutional Law Professor at prestigious University before the age of 40?"?
Where's the part about "managed 2-year long $250 Million national campaign and defeated Hillary Clinton, the odds-on favorite"?
As usual, the partisan slip is showing here. You guys are a joke.
This is a specious argument unsupported by fact.
The author begins by claiming that the media is biased toward "the left," and by extension "the left's" candidate, Barack Obama. This is conclusory, and is supported by no factual or statistical data.
Further, high school-level statistics and arithmetic would counsel one that a statistical survey with a sample size of 20 people is clearly insufficient for any sort of analysis.
Let's view the question itself. When you phrase a question used in a statistical survey in a way that makes it impossible for anyone rational to make the other choice, your survey is bogus. Maybe when people stated, “In reality, I'd need to know a lot more than you're giving me," that should have given you pause.
Let's try the two candidates again:
Candidate A: Middle-aged. Studied overseas. Raised by a single mother. Attended two different colleges in the U.S. before getting a degree, going from a local college where he exhibited great potential and earned his way into an ivy league school. Earned his way into the best law school in the country, and then went on to become the editor of its law review. Eschewed jobs in corporate law to work for his new community. Was elected to local office as a community organizer, from the ground up. Served in local politics for just over six years, and then quickly got elected to the state congress. Became a Senator.
Candidate B: Middle-aged. Went to an average college and got a degree. Joined a fraternity. Avoided service in Vietnam by pulling strings in his extremely wealthy newspaper publishing family. Served in the National Guard for six years. Instead of fighting for his country overseas, earned a law degree while serving. Pulled more family strings to land a job after the service. Was elected to a federal office, mostly relying on family connections. Was re-elected to a federal office. Was elected to a federal statewide office. Was re-elected to a federal state-wide office. Served in the executive branch for four years, widely regarded as one of the worst public servants who has ever held that job. Notorious difficulties with spelling.
You Libs don't like it when the fact that your "messiah" has no practical experience is exposed, do you?
