Ms. Fields seems to feel she's something of a rhetorician herself: "The golden-tongued seducer may turn out to be an alchemist playing tricks with base metal." But this is precious, clichéd, overwrought, and devoid of substance. It reads no better than it sounds.
William Jennings Bryan has far more in common with today's pontifical blowhards of the religious right than he does with Barack Obama.
"Preparations" ≠ "preconditions."
All those being seduced by Obama's promises of "change" should open their eyes and see the changes in his promises already taking place.
