I hate to think how hindered talks will be if muslim Obama is elected.
The Great Tribulation will begin this fall.

"Using Turkey as an intermediary, Israel and Syria acknowledged this spring they conducted "indirect" talks on a peace accord after a break of nearly a decade."
If Turkey is acting as an intermediary, how can President Bush be a hindrance to any agreement?
"Still, he argued Syrian officials recognize they need the United States to be active in the region, as a guarantor of any deal with Israel and as the only power capable of filling the security gap in the region's interlocking crises from Iraq and Iran to Lebanon and the Israeli-Palestinian dispute."
I think the UN would disagree with this sentiment, even though it's probably correct. But this has NOTHING to do with the Bush administration as President Bush has ALWAYS supported Israel in their quest for peace in the Middle East. All Syria wants from the US is money.
