Your article missed the climax of Obama's speech. At the end of his speech, he proclaimed, "Ich bin ein already Presidenter!"

In your photo of Obama facing the Berlin crowd, is that a "Heil, Obama!" salute Obama is giving the crowd? This reminds me of the crowds in Germany in the 1930's and early 1940's, where the crowds were spellbound by a pompous man who almost destroyed the world. Obama is continually lying to get votes. He's a arrogant, egotistically anti-white bigot who would destroy our country's values. Europe has major problems with Islamic radicals who are citizens of their countries and carry the European country passports. There are 60,000 Muslims (3,000 trained by al queda) in London alone. Why is Europe so interested in our election; they need to clean up their countries, or do they expect us to come to Europe and do it for them as we have done twice before. It's estiamted that Europe will have a majority Muslim population by the end of the century, so we cannot depend on Western Europe as allies. Central Europe, yes; but Western, no.

This guy is so unbelievably arrogant that he can't even admit that he was wrong with the surge. Even when he's wrong he feels he's right. What a total nutball. And the media continues to stroke that constantly growing massive ego of his. He just doesn't feel he's the President of the US, he's the ruler of the world. Actually, he's the Messiah. LOL.

If the election was held today, Obama bin Lyin would capture every precinct in Germany. When he told the story of sear old dad, did he mention that dad was a Marxist Muslim who was already married when he hooked up with a socialist white woman and later dumped her. Obama had time to play basketball in his Gucci workout gear but his busy schedule make him scrap plans to visit wounded soldiers. What a fraud.

Not very original. A take on Kennedy's Ich bin ein Berliner speech with his citizen of the world and Reagan's tear down this wall speech with tearing down new walls combined with a little Miss Congeniality wish for World Peace thrown in. Then we have "I want you to stop climate change". Controlling nature is a completely new category, quite a few steps above anything human on this planet. Problem is, there is no accountability for his speech. He is not the president and as a citizen of the world, they can't hold him accountable for anything he said. If he is elected all he has to do is "clarify" his statements like he has been doing during the entire campaign. If they take a position that might hurt his political career, will he disown them like Reverend Wright or his father? Does his speech mean he will put multilateralism above the half of the U.S. that doesn't agree with him? No, Obama's speech is better suited as head of the U.N. than a nation state. Like the U.N., he is strong on consensus and has no plans for compliance.

I believe that it is essential for our new president to build bridges and repair our standing with the international community. I do not think that you can do that with jokes about bombing another country; bomb-bomb Iran. McCain standing in the CHEESE isle lecturing about the surge, says it all to me. He is all lies and lacks the cogent fortitude to string together sentences for the press, how is he going to put together a plan for the 21st century? I'll tell you how--PUPPET MASTERS. Do you want a competent leader, or a puppet? Your choice.

Sry for Germans ones.

Our founders established a sovereign country to get away from European rule. We have provided military protection for Japan & Germany and other countries for over 60 years and have spent billions every year in foreign aid. We don't need to build bridges or send out an incompetent, little marxist to speak for us. We need to build a wall and kick out 14 million invaders who do not belong here. Hussein Obama is the Anti-Christ . Clear enough four you Deb?

Was Senator Obama giving a Reverend Wright Tent Revival or making a speech. Preaching hell and we are all damned, end our sins and I am here to guide you into a more perfect world, the Senator spoke to Germany. The Senator can not be held responsible for anything he has said because he was not the President. I can not stay in a church with the sermans like Senator Obama gve to the Germaqn people. Sometime, Senator Obama appears to desire to topple governments his own type of revolution wiping them out like hurrican Katrina rather than simply make changes.

i wouldn't rashly interpret the cheering masses in Berlin as being more supportive to the US under Obama than under Bush. estimated only 20%-30% of the audience understands english and most of them rather poorly. so you have all but ignorant masses applauding some candidate in some election they don't understand. he could have told them the earth is a plate and they would have seriously cheered him for being a "wise man". another schönen Tag noch aus Deutschland from an austrian living in germany

Sometimes nothing communicates better than a "parable". I submit the following "parable" from a friend of mine (thanks Don). I think it about sums up the state of the "world"'s political correctness these days. (P.S. - I apologize in advance for the 'PG-13' nature of the story - but it illustrates the point well, IMHO): =============================== John was in the fertilized egg business. He had several hundred young layers (hens), called 'pullets,' and ten roosters to fertilize the eggs. He kept records, and any rooster not performing went into the soup pot and was replaced. This took a lot of time, so he bought some tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone, so he could tell from a distance which rooster was performing. Now he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report by just listening to the bells. John's favorite rooster, old Butch, was a very fine specimen, but this morning he noticed old Butch's bell hadn't rung at all! When he went to investigate, he saw the other roosters were busy chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing, but the pullets, hearing the roosters coming, could run for cover. To John's amazement, old Butch had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one. John was so proud of old Butch, he entered him in the Renfrew County Fair and he became an overnight sensation among the judges. The result was the judges not only awarded old Butch the "No Bell Piece Prize" but they also awarded him the "Pulletsurprise" as well. Clearly old Butch was a politician in the making. Who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most highly coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populace and screwing them when they weren't paying attention. Vote carefully this year, the bells are not always audible.

Obama the messiah rooster ringing his bell fervently in front of the Berlin phallus. this is quite an adequate description. being a german citizen I am ashamed that so many illiterate fellows rendered such a homage to such a wannabe messiah. those who attended this fete whisper awestruck, they have seen Obama walking on the Wannsee barefeet and giving out baskets with fish and flagons of wine wich never empty. by the way, do you know that Berlin's mayor Wowereit, who ftattered Obama enthusiastically, ru(i)ns the german capital in coalition with the former GDR communist party SED? please, never vote a candidate who is cherished by the inheritors of east-german communist dictatorship.

I can't believe our Nation can be so dumb and led astray. What does Germany know anyway! Don't they realize that Hitler was good with words too. Just because you can give a good speech that is pumped full of political BS, doesn't mean you should be President of the United States. Hitler killed 6 million people and he almost got away with world domination because he brain-washed his people. If Germany likes OSAMA (opps...I mean Obama) so much, they can have him! I work for a bank and I have a finance degree. I may be young, but I realize that my Bank isn't going to make me President after working for a two year period. Why would we have a President who has done absolutely nothing to make himself known? We all know how well his Dad did in Kenya! Like Father, Like Son!!!!! DOWN WITH OBAMA, send him on a one way trip to Germany! Seems like all you've got to do in order to get the democratic nomination is make ONE, so called GREAT, speech at the national convention.

@Sauerkraut An Austrian living in Germany? never vote a candidate who is an Austrian living in Germany, they ruined the german capital from 1933-1945 and also happened to do a lot of stuff at Wannesee! Thank you "wise man" for pointing out your cosmopolitan opinion of Barack Obama.
